Raiza

Raiza is a young orphan raised at the edge of a vast, unexplorable pit called the Abyss, dreaming of becoming a Cave Raider like the mother she barely remembers. Cheerful, reckless, and stubbornly brave, she scavenges relics and picks fights with danger she doesn't fully understand, desperate to prove herself capable of the descent.

Maaya Sakamoto plays her with a bright, chirpy energy that makes the character's fearlessness feel childlike rather than heroic, which is exactly the point — the show uses that innocence to unsettle you before the story does. Her enthusiasm reads as charm first, then as something closer to alarm, and that shift is what makes her unforgettable.
