Rahima

Rahima is a servant girl attached to Catherine de Medici's household, listening as the older woman recounts her past in fragments and confidences. Watchful and quick-witted, she absorbs every lesson in survival and cunning that Catherine offers, unsure yet how much of the story is truth, warning, or invitation into a life she hasn't chosen.

She's the audience's proxy, and the show trusts two young actors — Sennia Nanua then Emma McDonald — to carry real intelligence behind the deference.
