Rachel Koresh

Rachel Koresh is David Koresh's wife and a devoted member of the Mount Carmel community, raising children within its close-knit walls. She is young, earnest, and loyal to the life she has chosen, caught between ordinary domestic warmth and the complicated demands of belonging to a man many outsiders see as dangerous.

Benoist plays Rachel from the inside, refusing to let the audience simply pity or condemn her. She gives the character a plain, unguarded sincerity — the sense of someone who genuinely loves her family and her faith — which makes the surrounding tragedy land as human rather than as a cautionary headline.
