Raccoons

Somewhere in the show's suburban night, a raccoon rummages through the trash and turns to invite the audience along: "Hey guys, you wanna see something cool?" What follows is rarely cool and rarely safe, but the raccoon's enthusiasm never wavers — it's just excited to show you something.

The joke is pure escalation: the invitation is always cheerful, the payoff always appalling, and the gap between the two is the whole gag. Nick Kroll plays the raccoon with unbothered, chipper confidence, which is funnier than any punchline could be on its own, and the bit's total unpredictability makes it a small, gleeful jolt whenever it turns up.
