R. J. turns up as one of the many passing faces in Futurama's sprawling future New New York — a small, quick sketch of a character rather than a headline player, dropped into the Planet Express orbit with whatever oddball job or errand the joke of the moment requires.

The fun here is really Billy West's range: he's already doing Fry, Farnsworth, and Zoidberg elsewhere in the same episode, so a bit part like this is a chance to hear him invent yet another voice from scratch, fully committed even when the character only gets a few lines to make an impression.
