Queen Victoria

Barely eighteen and newly crowned, Victoria is thrust onto the throne with almost no preparation for the weight of it. She's stubborn, quick-tempered, and painfully aware of how little the men around her expect her to manage alone. She wants to rule in fact as well as name, and bristles at anyone who assumes otherwise.

Coleman plays the gap between a girl's inexperience and a queen's absolute authority without flattening either side — she's petulant one moment, imperious the next, and both feel true. The writing lets her be genuinely unlikeable in small ways, which makes her growing command of the role earned rather than assumed.
