Queen Cersei Lannister

Cersei is queen and mother above all else, a Lannister who believes her family's power is owed and must be protected at any cost. She is beautiful, watchful, and quietly contemptuous of the court around her, hiding fierce ambition and love for her children behind a composed, regal exterior.

Headey plays Cersei's control as a mask stretched thin over rage and fear, letting small cracks—a flicker of contempt, a flash of panic for her children—show the woman beneath the crown. The writing gives her real logic for her ruthlessness, so even her coldest moments feel earned rather than villainous for its own sake.
