Pvt. Hamm

Hamm is one of the young Marines swept into K Company, part of the tight knot of green enlisted men learning to survive both drill instructors and each other before the fighting starts. He is brash and quick with a joke, eager to prove himself among older, harder veterans, still boyish enough to treat war as an adventure he hasn't yet had to pay for.

Noel Fisher plays him with a loose, wisecracking energy that makes the barracks scenes feel lived-in rather than solemn, giving the miniseries brief pockets of ordinary young-man swagger before the Pacific grinds it down. He's a small but human thread in a sprawling ensemble, memorable for how easily you like him.
