Professor Farnsworth XVII

A distant successor to the original Professor Farnsworth, glimpsed as part of Futurama's running joke about the family name enduring into the far future. Doddering, brilliant, and utterly unbothered by his own eccentricity, he carries the same inventor's mania and the same disregard for anyone else's safety.

The gag works because Billy West simply reuses the Professor's voice and cadence, letting a single vocal tic imply an entire dynasty of mad scientists stretching across generations. It's a tiny touch, but it lands because Futurama trusts the audience to catch the joke without a single line of explanation.
