Princess Tatiana Petrovna

A Russian émigré adrift in England after the revolution, Tatiana arrives trailing royal blood and no fortune to match it. She is sharp-tongued, bored, and dangerous in the way that clever people with nothing left to lose are dangerous, sizing up Tommy Shelby as both obstacle and diversion.

Jansen plays her as pure appetite dressed in aristocratic cool, never letting you see whether she's seducing Tommy or simply testing what he'll do. The character gives Peaky Blinders a rare adversary who matches Tommy's calculation with her own, and the performance makes her contempt for everyone around her feel like the most honest thing in the room.
