President of the Network

He's the faceless suit running the network within Futurama's satire of television itself — brisk, self-important, and entirely unbothered by whatever creative or human wreckage his decisions cause. He wants ratings, spectacle, and profit, and he says so without apology, treating the show's characters as product rather than people.

Billy West gives him the flat, chipper confidence of a man who has never once doubted himself, which is funnier than any joke he's given to say. He works because Futurama loves skewering the entertainment industry, and a network president who's pure, cheerful cynicism needs no further development to land.
