Portia Davenport

Portia is the actress in Dory's friend group, forever between auditions and currently stuck on a cheesy soap opera she's embarrassed to admit she loves doing. She's warm, scattered, and allergic to introspection, turning every conversation—including the search for a missing acquaintance—back toward her own dramas without quite meaning to.

Hagner plays vanity as something almost innocent, a kid's need for attention rather than real malice, which makes Portia funny instead of grating. The show hands her the most oblivious lines in any scene and she delivers them with total sincerity, so her cluelessness about the actual stakes around her becomes the joke and, eventually, something sadder.
