Popsicle Salesman

A background vendor glimpsed on the streets of New New York, hawking popsicles with the deadpan hustle of any city sidewalk salesman. He's a passing bit of scenery in the crowd, there to sell his product and move on, barely registering before the plot rushes past him.

He's the kind of throwaway bit player Futurama loves to sneak into frame, and Billy West gives him just enough gravelly, unbothered attitude to feel like a real fixture of the city rather than a prop. It's a tiny joke about how lived-in this future feels — vendors gonna vend.
