Policeman

He's one of Arlen's uniformed officers, popping up whenever the town's low-grade chaos needs an authority figure — a noise complaint, a traffic stop, something involving Dale's paranoia or Bobby's latest scheme. He's brisk, unbothered, and treats every absurd situation with the flat professionalism of someone who has seen it all before.

He's a small cog in the show's ensemble of Arlen background players, and Mike Judge's own flat, dry line readings give him a deadpan authority that never oversells the joke. The character works because he doesn't try to be funny — he's the straight man dropped into Texas nonsense, and that contrast does the work.
