Pizza Box

A pizza delivery box that talks, walks, and clearly has opinions about its job, Pizza Box turns up in New New York the way any appliance might in Futurama's future: alive, put-upon, and treated as furniture by everyone around it. It just wants to deliver the pizza and get on with its day.

The joke is the economy of it — a single throwaway robot given a voice and therefore, instantly, a personality. DiMaggio's growl (the same register he brings to Bender) makes an inanimate object sound weary and human, which is the show's whole trick: dignity handed to the things nobody else would bother animating.
