Piermont "Piney" Winston
Piermont "Piney" Winston in Sons of Anarchy (2008), played by William Lucking.
Piney Winston is one of the last founding members of SAMCRO, an old-guard biker wheezing through emphysema but still carrying a rifle and a grudge. He drinks too much, trusts too little, and clings to the club's original outlaw code, watching with a founder's suspicion as Clay Morrow steers Charming somewhere he doesn't like.
William Lucking plays Piney as a man whose body is failing faster than his convictions, and that mismatch is the whole performance — a gravelly, oxygen-tank moral conscience nobody particularly wants around. He's the show's living memory of what the club was supposed to be, and Lucking makes that history feel earned rather than expository.
Piermont "Piney" Winston was the father of Harry "Opie" Winston and co-founder of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club on the FX original series Sons of Anarchy. Played by American actor William Lucking, Piney makes his debut in the series' premiere episode, "Pilot", in season one. Playing a recurring role throughout the same and subsequent seasons.
