Aidan Gillen gives him a purring, unbothered charm that makes every line sound like a private joke at the room's expense. The writing lets him say 'knowledge is power' and mean something slyer than the aphorism suggests. He's fun precisely because you can never tell whether he's the smartest man in the room or just wants you to think so.
