Peter Quinn

Peter Quinn is a black-ops specialist working alongside the CIA, called in for the jobs that need to stay off the books. He is quiet, precise, and unnervingly competent in the field, but he watches the human cost of his work in a way his colleagues don't, and it clearly troubles him.

Rupert Friend plays him as a coiled stillness — a professional killer whose conscience hasn't gone numb yet, which makes him more dangerous to watch than reassuring. The show uses him to ask what happens to a good soldier inside a dirty war, and Friend answers it in silences rather than speeches.
