Peter Prior

Peter Prior is a young state trooper in the isolated town of Ennis, Alaska, partnered uneasily with the hard-edged Detective Liz Danvers. Earnest and still finding his footing, he balances the demands of the job against a home life with his wife and infant son, caught between loyalty and his own conscience.

Finn Bennett plays Peter as decency under pressure, a young cop absorbing the cynicism of his mentor while trying not to lose himself in it. The performance is quietly anxious rather than heroic, and that tension between duty and self-preservation gives the show's coldest moments a human pulse.
