Pete Twist

Pete Twist is one of the children in the Twist family, newly settled into a strange old lighthouse home with his father and siblings. He's curious and game for adventure, quick to get swept into the odd, magical happenings that keep cropping up around the house, and rarely fazed for long by how weird things get.

The show thrives on treating the fantastical as everyday, and Pete anchors that tone — a kid reacting to ghosts and curses with the same shrug he'd give a rainy day. Ben Thomas plays him with easy, unforced normalcy, which is exactly what makes the surrounding strangeness land as fun rather than frightening.
