Perry Wright

Perry is Celeste's husband, a successful businessman and father to their twin boys, often away on work trips and fiercely attentive when he's home. He's charming and possessive in equal measure, showering Celeste with affection that tips, almost imperceptibly, into control. To the other Monterey parents, he's simply the handsome, doting one.

Skarsgård plays charisma as a weapon, letting warmth curdle into menace within the same scene without ever raising his voice much. The show uses his beauty and easy magnetism against the audience's instincts, so you feel the pull toward him even as something underneath keeps not adding up.
