Maya Rudolph's voice work is the draw here: she can pivot from raunchy to tender in a single line, giving even a minor character real comic snap. The writing hands her big, blunt pronouncements about bodies and desire, and she delivers them with total, gleeful conviction, which is why she's fun to watch every time she shows up.
From what was seen from Paula in ''The Funeral'', she is a christian and probably homophobic (Because while Matthew was trying to come out as gay to her, his mother Kimberly tried everything to stop him). She has an unnamed pregnant daughter. Paula has dark brown hair and brown eyes. She wears glasses, dark blue pants, white shirt, pink sweater, pink earings and a rose pin, she is around 50.
