Patsy Mayo

Patsy Mayo works the courts as an assistant district attorney, sharp-suited and sharper-tongued, moving through the precinct with the easy confidence of someone who knows the system and isn't afraid to use it. She's ambitious, capable, and unbothered by the messier politics of Hill Street — a professional first, and a complication for Frank Furillo second.

Kuzyk plays her with a brisk competence that never tips into caricature, which matters on a show built around morally tangled cops and lawyers. Patsy isn't there to be a rival or a romance alone — she's written as someone with her own caseload and her own reasons, and that groundedness makes whatever tension she brings to Furillo's life feel earned rather than manufactured.
