Paige Jennings

Paige is the teenage daughter of Philip and Elizabeth Jennings, a seemingly ordinary Washington suburban girl navigating high school, faith, and her parents' strict rules. She's drawn to her church youth group, questioning and earnest, pushing against boundaries at home even as she has no idea what her parents actually do.

Holly Taylor plays ordinary teenage yearning with such sincerity that it becomes the show's emotional pressure valve — every scene of Paige searching for purpose or honesty gains unbearable irony from what the audience knows and she doesn't. The writing uses her as the family's conscience-in-waiting, and Taylor never lets that feel like a device.
