Paco

Paco is the quiet kid from the apartment next door, the one who slips into the bookstore to read on the sly and flinches around the man his mother's brought home. Joe notices him before anyone else does, and Paco starts noticing Joe back — cautious, watchful, hungry for someone steady to pay attention to him.

Luca Padovan plays him without a trace of precocious-kid shtick — just a wary, observant stillness that makes you lean in. He's the show's moral pressure point, the reason Joe's self-mythology as a protector almost makes sense, and Padovan lets you see a real child underneath that question rather than a plot device.
