Oxygen Tank

Oxygen Tank turns up as one of Futurama's countless one-scene oddities, a background presence in a universe where robots, aliens, and, apparently, tanks of gas can all have a line of dialogue and a personality to match. He exists briefly, does his bit, and moves the joke along.

The character works because Futurama's comic engine runs on exactly this kind of throwaway invention, and Maurice LaMarche is one of the show's great utility voices, capable of making even a single line land with a fully formed comic attitude. It is a small piece of a much larger, gleefully overstuffed world.
