Ola

Ola drifts into Tracey's overcrowded world as one of the quieter presences on the estate, a young man who watches more than he talks and seems mildly bemused by the chaos around him. He wants very little fuss made and gives off the sense of someone still working out where he fits.

Olisa Odele plays him with a dry, unhurried stillness that reads as comic restraint against Chewing Gum's manic energy — he barely raises his voice and still lands the joke. That contrast, calm boy adrift in Tracey's whirlwind, is what makes his scenes land without him ever seeming to try.
