OG Cliff Steele

Cliff Steele used to be a hotshot race car driver with a wife and daughter; now he is a brain wired into a clanking metal body, and he hates almost everything about it. He curses, rages, grieves his lost senses, and lashes out at the strange household of fellow outcasts he's stuck living with at Doom Manor.

Brendan Fraser gives a man trapped inside a machine all the wounded, blustering humanity of someone still adjusting to loss in real time — funny, foul-mouthed, and heartbroken within the same breath. The show lets a giant metal man be embarrassingly emotional, and that contradiction is what makes him instantly, weirdly moving.
