Officer Tina Hanlon

Tina Hanlon is a young patrol officer newly assigned to the Barn, eager to prove herself on the street. She's earnest and still finding her footing, paired up with more seasoned cops and learning fast that Farmington's version of policing doesn't always match what she was taught in training. She wants to do the job well and be taken seriously.

Paula Garcés plays Tina as a rookie without making her naive for effect — her uncertainty feels real, especially as she navigates a department full of macho posturing and moral shortcuts. She gives The Shield a pair of eyes still adjusting to how things actually work at the Barn, which lets the show quietly interrogate its own culture through her reactions.
