Officer Julien Lowe

Julien Lowe is a young patrol officer at the Barn, devout and by-the-book in a precinct where the rules bend constantly. He polices with rigid moral certainty, quick to judge colleagues who cut corners, all while quietly wrestling with a private conflict between his faith and his own desires that he keeps carefully hidden from everyone around him.

Michael Jace plays Julien's contradictions without tipping his hand, letting a stiff posture and clipped disapproval carry a tension the scripts never state outright. The show uses him as a moral counterweight to Vic Mackey's crew, but it's the quiet strain beneath his righteousness — never explained, only felt — that makes him impossible to look away from.
