Officer Danielle "Danny" Sofer

Danny Sofer patrols the rough streets of Farmington as one of the LAPD's few genuinely decent cops, partnered with the younger, more rigid Julien Lowe. She's sharp, tough, funny under pressure, and trying to raise a kid on a patrol officer's salary while everyone around her cuts corners she won't.

Catherine Dent plays her with an easy, lived-in competence that makes Danny feel like an actual cop rather than a plot function — tired, wry, quick to needle Julien, never precious about her own integrity. In a show obsessed with corruption, she's the quiet argument that doing the job straight is still possible, and still hard.
