Octavio

Octavio turns up as one of the many faces passing through Arlen, Texas, a small-town presence rather than a lead — the kind of figure who slides into a scene, says his piece, and lets the Hill household's world feel a little bigger and stranger for having him in it.

The pleasure here is Mike Judge himself, who voices half of Arlen without ever repeating the same joke twice. Octavio is a small brushstroke in a very large mural, and the show's gift is treating even its briefest characters like real people with their own logic, so he lands as funny rather than forgettable.
