Number Guy
Number Guy in Sesame Street (1970), played by Jerry Nelson and Matt Vogel.
Number Guy is a banjo strumming folksinger who appeared in a series of Sesame Street animated inserts with a counting motif. Produced by David and Adam Rudman's Spiffy Pictures in 1995, the segments were built around a musical variation of Bob Dylan's 1962 folk song "Blowin' in the Wind." The folksinger asks how many of a specific animal will perform a task.
