Noticeably F. A. T.

A minor face in Futurama's crowded universe, Noticeably F.A.T. is exactly what the name promises: a bit of one-joke background business rather than a figure with a plot of his own. He turns up, does his small comic function, and moves on without ceremony.

The character is really a vehicle for the show's habit of naming jokes into existence, and John DiMaggio's gift for tossed-off, gravelly bit-part voices is what makes the gag land. It's a testament to Futurama's density that even a blink-and-miss-it name gets a fully committed reading.
