Norm

Norm appears as one of the many voices John DiMaggio brings to Futurama's crowded universe of robots, aliens, and background New New Yorkers. He surfaces briefly within the show's sprawling ensemble, a small piece of the world Fry and the Planet Express crew move through rather than a driver of the plot.

DiMaggio's gift is elasticity — the same actor who gives Bender his brassy swagger can drop into a minor role like this and make it sound like a completely different person. Even a passing character benefits from that vocal specificity, adding texture to Futurama's crowded, lived-in future without asking for the spotlight.
