Nixon's Bodyguard

A member of President Nixon's security detail in the year 3000, this bodyguard appears wherever the reanimated head of state needs protecting from the usual chaos of Futurama's world. He carries himself with the stiff, dutiful seriousness of Secret Service, treating even the most absurd threats with total professionalism.

The joke is in the contrast: a stone-faced, competent bodyguard taking his job completely seriously in service of a floating head in a jar who is, constitutionally, still the President. Phil LaMarr plays it straight, which is exactly what makes the surrounding lunacy land.
