Nicholas D. Wolfwood

A gunslinger-priest who carries an enormous cross-shaped weapon on his back, Wolfwood drifts into Vash's orbit with a lazy smile, a cigarette, and a knack for showing up exactly when trouble does. He's pragmatic where Vash is idealistic, quick with a joke or a bullet, and cagey about who he actually works for.

Sho Hayami plays him with a dry, unhurried cool that makes his violence feel almost casual, which is precisely what lets the character's real weight sneak up on you. He's the show's argument against Vash's pacifism made flesh and charm, and every scene he shares with Vash sharpens both of them.
