Nibblonian Chef

A minor figure among the tiny, ancient Nibblonian race glimpsed in Futurama's universe, the Nibblonian Chef pops up for a quick bit of business rather than any grand purpose. He goes about his small task with the deadpan, matter-of-fact air the show gives even its most fleeting aliens.

He's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it joke, but that's the appeal: Futurama treats even a one-scene alien cook with full commitment to its universe's logic. John DiMaggio, already doing heavy lifting elsewhere in the cast, slips into the role with the same gravelly comic ease, making a throwaway character feel like part of a lived-in galaxy.
