Nia Teppelin

Nia appears sealed inside a strange pod, unearthed by Simon and the Dai-Gurren crew, and steps into a world she knows nothing about. Gentle, curious, and disarmingly literal, she greets danger and kindness alike with the same wide-eyed openness, having spent her whole life shut away from ordinary human experience.

Her innocence could easily be cloying, but the show uses it as a lens: through Nia's total unfamiliarity with cruelty, cooking, or crowds, the series re-examines what its rowdy heroes take for granted. Yukari Fukui plays her without irony, so her sincerity lands as strength rather than naivety, grounding the story's biggest spectacle in something tender.
