Nerdbot

Nerdbot is a robot member of Al Gore's Vice Presidential Action Rangers, forever tagging along on their spacefaring missions with the eager, socially awkward energy of exactly what his name promises. He's earnest, trivia-obsessed, and desperate to be taken seriously as a hero despite his small stature and squeaky enthusiasm.

The joke is baked into the concept — a nerd, but literally a robot — and the show never has to strain for it. Tress MacNeille's chirpy, overeager voice work turns a one-note gag into something genuinely funny in small doses, a background presence who makes the show's most absurd institutions feel lived-in and specific.
