Neptunian

A resident of Neptune, glimpsed among the planet's population in one of Futurama's tours through its cheerfully absurd solar system. Like most background aliens on the show, this Neptunian exists to color a scene rather than drive a plot — a small, deadpan piece of the universe's texture rather than a character with a stated want.

David Herman, one of the show's reliable utility voices, gives even a walk-on alien the flat, matter-of-fact delivery that makes Futurama's weirdest sights feel like nobody's business but their own. The joke is never that a Neptunian is strange; it's that everyone treats it as perfectly normal.
