Nelson "Big Head" Bighetti

Big Head drifts into Pied Piper's orbit as Richard's affable college buddy, a genial non-entity with no discernible technical talent and even less ambition. He nods along in meetings, agrees with whoever spoke last, and seems perpetually startled by his own good fortune. He wants, mostly, to be left alone and comfortable.

Josh Brener plays vacancy as a kind of superpower, a blank, sunny incompetence that keeps landing him success purely by proximity to smarter people. The show uses him as a running joke about failure upward, but Brener's total sincerity keeps him lovable rather than smug — he never seems to notice he's the punchline, which is exactly why he isn't one.
