Neil Fak

Neil Fak is the kitchen's handyman and general fixer, the guy who shows up when something's broken and stays around because everyone likes having him there. He's cheerful, a little chaotic, endlessly loyal to Carmy and the crew, and treats the restaurant's problems as his own without ever being asked.

Matheson plays him with such unguarded warmth that Neil becomes the show's emotional pressure valve — comic relief that never feels cheap because the affection is real. He's a friend first, competence second, and that ordering is exactly what makes him lovable and, eventually, indispensable.
