Ndulu

Ndulu appears as one of the many minor faces that populate Futurama's crowded 31st-century New New York, a small role that flickers through the margins of a larger story rather than driving it. Like much of the show's background population, the character exists to color a scene rather than anchor one.

David Herman, already doing heavy lifting elsewhere in the Futurama voice cast, brings the same offhand comic precision to even a glancing role like this. The show's gift has always been making its background feel inhabited, and a character like Ndulu is proof of how much texture the writers and cast pack into corners most viewers barely notice.
