Nanachi

Deep in the Abyss, Riko and Reg meet a small, rabbit-eared creature who moves through the forest with a hunter's ease and a healer's patience. Nanachi lives alone, wary of outsiders, armed with sharp traps and sharper wit, but softens once trust is earned, offering shelter and hard-won survival knowledge.

Shiori Izawa gives Nanachi a voice that flips between playful chirp and weary ache without ever feeling like two performances stitched together. The character's cheerful, almost comic design sits deliberately against the weight the Abyss has already put on them, and that friction — cuteness carrying real cost — is what makes Nanachi impossible to look away from.
