Myra Monkhouse

Myra Monkhouse turns up in the Winslow orbit as an eager, awkward admirer of Steve Urkel — nerdy in her own right, hopelessly smitten, and utterly undeterred by the fact that Urkel only has eyes for Laura. She's loud, persistent, and endearingly oblivious to how much she resembles the boy she's chasing.

The joke could have been cruel, but Michelle Thomas plays Myra's crush with such open sincerity that it becomes sweet rather than pathetic. She matches Urkel's exaggerated physical comedy beat for beat, turning a rival-suitor gag into a genuinely funny, oddly touching double act.
