Mutt Schitt

Mutt Schitt turns up as one of the few locals unbothered by the Roses' arrival, a laid-back cousin of Roland's who runs the family taxidermy business out of an old barn. He's easy company, unhurried and grounded, and he takes a quiet, steady interest in David that David doesn't quite know what to do with.

Tim Rozon plays him as a calm counterweight to David's anxious spiral, all patient smiles and unbothered charm, which makes him funny simply by being sane in a town full of chaos. The show uses his groundedness to expose David's neediness, and Rozon never overplays the contrast — he just lets it sit there, warmly.
