Displayed among rows of preserved celebrity heads in the Head Museum of the year 3000, this particular jarred head is one of the countless historical figures Fry stumbles across on his tour of the future. Bodiless and bottled, it exists purely as a museum exhibit, a punchline waiting for someone to wander past its case.

Futurama's running joke of severed heads in jars works because the show never explains it, just lets the absurdity sit there as furniture. Tress MacNeille, one of the most versatile voice actors in animation, gives even this glancing bit of background dialogue a specific, funny cadence, proof that in this world no line is too small to be cast well.
