Museum Guard #2 is exactly what the title promises: a background functionary in some Futurama exhibit or hall, present to enforce a rule or bark a line of exposition before the plot moves past them. They exist for a beat, not a story.

The joke is the anonymity itself — Futurama loves populating its world with throwaway officials who sound fully formed for one line. Tress MacNeille, a veteran of stacking distinct voices into a single episode, gives even a numbered nobody a specific texture, which is why the show's crowds never feel like filler.
