Mr. Chunks

Mr. Chunks turns up as one of the countless oddball bit players who pass through Futurama's 31st-century New New York, the kind of character who exists for a scene or two, fully committed to whatever strange purpose the joke requires, then gone.

Maurice LaMarche is one of Futurama's great utility voices, able to drop a fully formed personality into a single scene, and Mr. Chunks benefits from that gift: a small role given real comic conviction, the kind of throwaway character that rewards viewers paying close attention.
